18”x24” Acrylic on Canvas

I painted this late one evening. I had painted early in the day and took a break to escape the heat of the sun; with the plan that after a few hours I would go back and paint some more. Life rarely goes as we plan, so at almost 9 pm I was just getting home and outside to paint, daylight waning. Praying for inspiration and guidance I just started to paint. Layering, thinning, this brush, that color and suddenly it was finished. I saw an Ichthus, the symbol Ancient Christians wrote in the sand to let others know they were not alone. Andrew saw the Breast Cancer pink ribbon, both symbols of hope and encouragement. I don’t think I could have asked for a better answer to my prayer.
