“Purple Dream” was my first attempt at this technique, and at the time I was just following where God was leading, no plan, just trust. “Purple Chrome” is my first experience ‘scaling up’ the same technique. At first, I hated the runs but they kept coming. Just like in life I could either accept them and find beauty in them or be angry that it didn’t perfectly match what I had pictured in my mind. In the end, there was more beauty in what was naturally happening than there ever would have been if I forced my own will.
