24”x48” Acrylic on Birch Plywood
 
I painted “Milky Way” on plywood, a choice I made as I was trying new ideas and inspiration. It pained me to cover all of the beautiful natural wood grain. The next time I could get to the hardware store I took down every piece of 24x48” plywood and bought the one with the most beautiful grain. I wanted to pair that beauty of the “earth” with something equally majestic and nothing is more majestic to me than the beautiful Heavens.
